Jaxson {newborn, 6 day}

October 25, 2010

I was so excited to meet little Jaxson! Isn’t he just the most adorable little guy?? Such chubby cheeks! We got a few awake shots and I was just so amazed at how alert he is for just 6 days old! Big brother Jordan was so patient with us, though he wasn’t too comfy holding him quite yet!

I adore doing newborns and was very excited that Tara and Calm brought him in early, the first few weeks are the best to get those adorable sleepy images. Sharing some of my favs from our session, hope you like and THANK YOU again for coming and letting me capture your little guys newborn images.

LaReisha {5mths}

October 24, 2010

I first would like to thank Leanne for coming such a long way to get her sweet angel’s pictures taken with me, that means ALOT to me, thank you!

Just look at this sweet little angel!!!!! And what a beautiful name…LaReisha!  And her hair!!!! She has a head of thick beautiful hair, that likes to spike itself…no hair product needed…lol!!! She could only sit up for a wee bit on her own, so we had to plop her into the basket for a few. And I got a yawn pic, well looks more  like she is yelling at me, but I always love capturing all the little expressions!

Thanks again Leanne and hope to see you again soon! I really enjoyed our session…she is an angel!

Erin and Rob {wedding}

October 14, 2010

What a beautiful day for another gorgeous fall wedding! The leaves may have fallen off the trees but those warm colors still were around us.

The bride was radiant, the groom ever so handsome! And what a fun wedding party!!!! The ceremony was so lovely with the hall decorated perfectly with a fall theme.

Erin and Rob, I truly enjoyed being able to capture your special day for you, and couldn’t wait to share some favorites! Enjoy and hope your having an amazing trip!

When Ashley and Cory first came to visit me and explained the theme of their wedding I thought  what a unique idea! A Carnival!!!!! How fun is that!!!! Well they certainly pulled it off….right down to the games, prizes, cotton candy and clowns!

The bride was elegant, the groom ever so dapper. The bridal party was so fun…the girls had such fun tights and shoes! LOVED the brides shoes! The ceremony was so lovely and then the bridal party was chauffeured to their destinations via school bus!

The couple also had a videographer from Winnipeg, Sean Philips from A Moving Picture Studios making a very memorable video of their day. Check out his work here at  www.amovingpicturestudios.com .   I cannot wait to see theirs, and REALLY enjoyed spending the day working with him. He is a very talented guy! I hope you enjoyed your trip up north!

The Flin Flon Community Hall was transformed into the most amazing Carnival. There was a candy table the whole length of the stage, a child’s (and adult’s!) dream come true! Willy Wonka would be proud! The games were fun for all, and with each win you got to put a ticket into a table of draws, consisting of a childs package, beautiful jewelry, and bbq’s! There was also a tent with Cotton Candy made fresh for you, along with a Popcorn machine, Candy Apples and Sno Cones too! The couple was announced in and showered by Confetti Cannons! Supper was catered by Chicken Chef and they did an amazing  job (as always) treating the guests with different stations with different ethnic food such as Chinese (along with fortune cookies),Italian and Ukranian!

The amount of time and details that went into this wedding is really beyond comprehension, Ashley and Cory you did an amazing amazing job! I wish you all the best always! I put a few collages together for your sneak peek so others can see all you put into your big day!  Enjoy!

I was so excited to finally meet Melanie and Randy, Melanie and I have been corresponding via email for so long! The evening light was so scrumptious, however we could have totally done without those pesky sandflies!!! (I am quickly becoming the “sandfly cloning queen”!!!) I had so much fun with these two…their love for each other is just beaming!! I cannot wait until their wedding next July!

Here are a few favorites! We will see you guys on the weekend!

Don’t you love the fall? I wish it could stay like this so much longer than it has! I think fall has to be my favorite time of year for family sessions. The colors are always so amazing!

I have been so blessed to be able to capture these two since I started my photography business, and I always look forward to seeing them! We  always just take a walk and “see what we can get”. Well this year we got some beautiful captures and I am really excited with them!

Just a few favs….enjoy!

I had such fun with Brandy and her beautiful girls! We started outside but quickly got swarmed with darn sandflies! The girls we troopers but the bugs got the best of us!(I have some other great shots but have lots of cloning to do to get those pesky flies out of the images!) We ended up back for some studio shots and so glad we did, I am SO excited with these! Thank you so much Brandy, Bailey and Hailey for coming out, I hope you like your sneak peek and will be in touch soon!!!!
